Yesterday and today.
Well yesterday while Evan was sleeping I finally got the chance to clean up my garden. Since we moved into the house in Dec I got the chance last year to just watch stuff come up, see what's there, it was very exciting for me. I know, I know, it sounds boring, watching flowers grow, but I enjoyed having something to watch besides my new born baby. Anyway so this year I got the chance to clean things up, it was rewarding and good exercise. I'm a little stiff today. I removed one rose bush that was to scraggly looking,it was the first thing you see when you come into the yard, it had to go, I transplanted some irises there instead, they are my fav flower after all.
After Evan woke up we went for a little walk around the block. I had a very scary moment. I was carrying him a little ways and one of the neighbors drove by and waved, so I waved back and my foot rolled into someones grass edging. (you know the ppl who make a little space between their grass and the sidewalk?) This was at the corner so there was a large section of side walk. I was so scared!!!! I stumbled as far as I could going towards the boulevard grass and away from the cement, but we still went down. I tried to hold on to Evan for as long as I could but I also didn't want him to be under me when I went down, so I turned to the side. There we where on the ground and I hit my head on the curb not to mention I rolled my ankle it hurts a little today. It sucked but we are fine. I had nightmares about it last night. One little thing like that could change our whole lives. What if he landed on the cement! Such scary stuff.
Today is G-shopping day, and Walmart day.
I have to buy steel toed shoes for my new job, Katrina suggested Walmart, they sell them rather cheap there. As long as they are CCA or CAC or whatever approved I'm good. So that's pretty much my day today. Earl is here to come with me this time at least, which is nice, g-shopping with baby is a pain, more so the unloading part. Earl's back is doing much better he's been taken it easy and resting.
That's it for me today. Bye!

WOW - scary moment for you!! I totally had a flash back of the story Trish told me and it made me think about Kim! :( You just never know!?
Wal-mart does have quite a few steel toe'd shoes and they are reasonably priced. That is where we buy Mike's at all the time. They even have "lady" ones! And most of them just look like sneakers you can't even tell there steel toe'd by looking at them!
Sorry to hear you bumped your head but better you then Evan I guess! ;) Hope your ankle feels beter soon!
((HUGS))
OMG!!! That is completely terrifying! I'm always frightened that I'm going to do something like that when I'm hold a nephew.
Glad to hear that everything turned out okay. Sorry that you bumped your head though! Hope it is feeling better.
